Position Overview
iNovate Solutions is seeking an Information Assurance Analyst with an active Secret Security Clearance to support our Army Customer. The position will support cybersecurity and Information Assurance activities for Army platforms, including Risk Management Framework (RMF) execution, eMASS artifact development, Authority to Operate (ATO) maintenance, vulnerability management, security validation, and secure system interfaces. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience with cybersecurity principles, NIST 800-53 controls, and cloud security, including FedRAMP.
Key Responsibilities
• Support and manage Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities for army systems.
• Generate, review, maintain, and coordinate cybersecurity artifacts in eMASS to support obtaining and maintaining Authorities to Operate (ATOs).
• Track ATO expiration dates and support proactive RMF package preparation and submission to prevent lapses in authorization.
• Monitor Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs) and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance for virtual reality simulators and other virtual training platforms.
• Support remediation or development of mitigation plans for identified vulnerabilities and cybersecurity findings.
• Provide technical justification to the Authorizing Official (AO) when security updates may negatively affect simulator performance or training fidelity.
• Conduct or support vulnerability scans and independent assessments of simulator software to validate required security characteristics.
• Support integration of cybersecurity requirements and controls into system performance objectives and technical requirements.
• Assist in engineering secure interfaces between virtual training environments and tactical logistics networks.
• Collaborate closely with Systems Engineers to evaluate cybersecurity patches and STIG implementation while minimizing impacts to simulator frame rates, latency, and training fidelity.
• Support cybersecurity documentation, technical reviews, test activities, and other security-related program events.
• Maintain cybersecurity records and artifacts in an organized, current, retrievable, and audit-ready manner.
• Comply with applicable DoD and Army cybersecurity requirements, including DoDI 8500.01, DoDI 8510.01, AR 25-2, and applicable security requirements identified in the contract.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of three to ten (3-10) years of experience in systems security, or equivalent combination of education/experience
• Active Secret Security Clearance.
• Demonstrated experience with cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
• Experience supporting the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and cybersecurity authorization activities.
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 security controls.
• Knowledge of cloud security concepts, including FedRAMP.
• Experience supporting vulnerability management, security compliance, vulnerability scanning, or security assessment activities.
• Ability to develop and maintain cybersecurity documentation and technical artifacts.
• Ability to work collaboratively with systems engineering, technical, program, and Government cybersecurity stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work primarily on-site in the Oviedo/Orlando, Florida area and perform domestic or OCONUS travel when required by the mission.
