Position Overview
iNovate Solutions is seeking a skilled Logistics Management Specialist with an active Secret Security Clearance to support our Army customer by providing acquisition logistics, sustainment planning, fielding, property accountability, technical data management, and sustainment cost analysis support for Army virtual training systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in Army Acquisition Logistics and supporting the life-cycle sustainment of Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) or other IT-based systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Draft, review, update, and maintain Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs) and Supportability Strategies for virtual training devices.
• Coordinate New Equipment Training (NET) and Materiel Fielding activities for virtual trainers at Army installations.
• Manage and support property accountability for specialized virtual training equipment, including VR headsets, haptic suits, high-end processing units, and other Government property.
• Review and manage technical manuals, IUID verification reports, software repositories, and related technical data to support sustainment and preserve Government data rights.
• Collaborate with the G8/Budget team to develop Total Ownership Cost (TOC) estimates for cloud-hosting and hardware refresh cycles.
• Support acquisition life-cycle management and sustainment activities for PdD VTS virtual training systems from development through fielding and sustainment.
• Coordinate logistics activities with project coordination, systems engineering, cybersecurity, military analysis, operations, budget, and other Government and contractor stakeholders.
• Support fielding, site activities, inventories, training, and operational coordination at Army installations and other mission locations as required.
• Maintain logistics documentation and records so that information is current, retrievable, version-controlled, and audit-ready.
• Identify logistics and sustainment process improvements that reduce labor hours, eliminate duplication, improve coordination, or shorten cycle times.
• Support synchronization of hardware lifecycle and refresh schedules with out-year budget projections and planned funding.
• Maintain accurate property accountability and support timely updates to sustainment documentation following major system configuration changes or Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) approvals.
Required Qualifications
• Active Secret Security Clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree and 3-10 years of experience in Army Acquisition Logistics, including experience with AR 700-127 (Integrated Product Support).
• Experience supporting acquisition logistics, sustainment planning, fielding, property accountability, and life-cycle support activities.
• Experience developing, reviewing, or maintaining logistics and sustainment documentation such as LCSPs, supportability strategies, technical manuals, or fielding documentation.
• Knowledge of Army materiel fielding, property accountability, technical data, and sustainment processes.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with Government program personnel, technical teams, budget personnel, Army installations, and other stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce accurate, timely, and audit-ready documentation.
• Ability to work primarily on-site in the Oviedo/Orlando, Florida area during Government operating hours.
• Ability and willingness to perform CONUS and OCONUS travel when required to support mission activities.
